One Stop Biz Setup publishes write-ups on getting a new business online in one pass. That is the whole remit: one subject, covered properly, rather than a little of everything.

Why the site exists

A lot of what a reader finds about getting a new business online in one pass is written by the companies that sell it. That is useful, but it is written to sell.

This site sets out to describe it plainly instead: what something does, what it costs where that is published, and where it stops.

What gets written here

Write-ups of individual options, head-to-head comparisons between two of them, and plain explanations of the terms that come up along the way.

Each page is built around one question, and carries the date it was last updated so a reader can see how current it is.

How pages are put together

Where one option is better than another for a given job, that is said in words, with the reason attached. It is never expressed as a number.

  • No scores out of ten, no star ratings, no tier boards and no leaderboards.
  • No description of testing that did not take place.
  • Pricing and feature claims are checked against the vendor’s own pages, and dated where the page says so.
  • Where something is genuinely unclear, the page says it is unclear rather than guessing.

Funding

Some outbound links on this site are affiliate links, which means a commission may be earned if you follow one and sign up. That arrangement never decides what appears here or in what order. It is set out in full under Disclosure.

Corrections

If something here is wrong, out of date, or reads as more confident than the evidence supports, write to [email protected] and say so. A link to the page that contradicts it is the fastest way to get it fixed.
